Ahmad Rizky M. Umar is currently a sessional academic at the University of Queensland, Australia. He will join Aberystwyth University as Marie-Sklodowska Curie/UKRI Postdoctoral Fellow in September 2024. He completed PhD at the University of Queensland in 2022 with a thesis on ‘The Idea of Asia in World Politics’. Previously, he worked as researcher at ASEAN Studies Center, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, between 2014-18.
