Mahmoud Pargoo is an expert on society and politics of post-revolutionary Iran. He got his Ph.D. in Social and Political Thought from Australian Catholic University and is currently working on a book manuscript tentatively titled “paradoxes of secularisation and Islamization in post-revolutionary Iran”. His comments have been published in international outlets such as al-Monitor, The Diplomat, and Lobelog.
